I am currently at Google AI in Zurich, Switzerland.

I received PhD degree (German: Dr.-Ing.) from Leibniz University of Hannover from Institute for Information Processing in 2016. During my PhD studies, I interned at Disney Research, working with Dr. Sung Ju Hwang and Dr. Leonid Sigal. I also interned at Microsoft Research, Cambridge during my final year. Before that, I obtained Master degree (“Специалист”) from Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia.

Robust Vision Challenge deadline is extended to the 14th of August! Robust vision challenge still has zero entries on Object Detection and Instance Segmentation leaderboards - great opportunity to win first or second place monetary prizes and visibility computer vision community.

2020 Feb.

Open Images V6 is released! It comes with more image-level labels, visual relationship annotations, and finally, a new type of annotations: localized narratives!
